Tomb of Genghis Khan

The Tomb of Genghis Khan, one of history's immortals with over 17 million descendants today, the most successful military commander the world has ever known, has been shrouded in mystery for the last 800 years. No one knows its location.

Genghis Khan in his last wish had asked to be buried without markings, and his compatriots carried out his wish meticulously. They stampeded the burial site with horses, planted many trees there and killed every soldier involved in the burial. Read more about it here.
